About us
New Horizons is a social and friendship club for single people in the 40 to sixties age group.
The group, although orginally formed in East Auckland, New Zealand, now has members from the wider Auckland area.
Our newsletter is the result of a monthly planning meeting where members put forward events they are willing to host or co-ordinate, and this forms the basis of our social events for the month. Events are therefore as varied as the interests of our members.
There is no member's fee for public events. We pay only the cost of the actual event.
Should an event be at a member's home we pay a $3 host fee to contribute to expenses, these are 'byo' and we each bring a plate.
